Fujian Xiaocuo Port imports laterite nickel ore for the first time

Recently, the Singaporean ship "Wanhe" carrying 60,500 tons of laterite nickel ore from the Philippines successfully berthed at Shag Wharf in Xiaocuo Port, Quanzhou.

According to the relevant person in charge of the cargo owner company, the imported laterite nickel ore can replace part of bentonite as an iron-based adhesive after deep processing, effectively reducing the production costs of steel companies. At the same time, with the superior geographical advantages of Xiaocuo Port, this batch of goods can be directly delivered to the demanding companies through sea, rail and land transportation, further reducing logistics costs.
